Girlpreneur workshop launch!

This weekend the beYOUty school launched its first workshop on “How to be a Girlpreneur.” Attended by girls from the Tri-state area, the workshop featured interactive activities that got us moving and thinking. Guest speakers Isabelle Cross owner of the popular restaurant 21 at the Frederick in Huntington, WV, Andrea Smith franchisee of Juice Plus and Brianna Marie Huff of Brei’s Belles ParTEAs for the Art of Dance, inspired us with their stories of how they became entrepreneurs and encouraged us to find our passion and follow our dreams!
We put our own creativity and critical thinking skills to the test in the Lemonade Challenge and by developing our own business ideas as a group. Our final challenge was to present our idea to everyone in a one minute or less Elevator Pitch. Wow! What a jam packed day but it was totally worth it. We all came away from this workshop with the tools to create our own businesses.
